Get your Stratux up and running in 5 minutes.
Screw the antennas onto the matching ports: - 978 antenna → 978 port - 1090 antenna → 1090 port
Hand-tighten only! Over-tightening can damage the internal pigtail cables.
Place Stratux with the logo side facing up (toward the sky). The GPS receiver is on this side and needs a clear view of the sky.
For best results: - Dashboard with clear windshield view - Side window mount using suction cups - Avoid metal roofs or canopies that block GPS
Connect the USB cable from the battery to Stratux.
Lights: - 🔴 Red light = power - 🟢 Green light = system ready
Wait for the green light to turn solid (about 30-60 seconds).
On your phone or tablet: 1. Open WiFi settings 2. Connect to “stratux” network (no password) 3. Stay connected even if it says “no internet”
Launch ForeFlight, Avare, FlyQ, or your preferred app. Traffic and weather should appear automatically.

On first boot, GPS may take 10-20 minutes to build its satellite catalog. Do this outside with a clear sky view — not in a hangar.
Weather comes from 978 MHz ground towers. You’ll start seeing NEXRAD and METARs once you’re about 1,000 feet AGL.
