Why isn’t weather displaying?
You need to enable the weather layer in your flight bag software. Stratux contains no map display software. ForeFlight instructions.
NOTE: Weather only shows up in air since line of sight with an ADS-B tower is needed. Usually around 1,000 AGL. Here is a map of tower locations in the US.
NOTE:
You can see if your unit is receivin weather by accessing 192.168.10
from a browser of any device on the stratux network and looking at the
status page under UAT statistics. Towers indicates the number of towers
you’re connected to currently. The UAT bar under messages should be
greater than 0 if you’re receiving weather data.
