Can I Use a RAM Mount?

Yes! Here’s how to adapt the included Stratux mount for a RAM ball system.

What You Need

Modification Steps

  1. Remove the diamond ball from the RAM base (or use a base without one)
  2. The RAM base holes align perfectly with the Stratux cradle holes
  3. Use #10 x 1” flathead screws to attach the cradle to the RAM base
  4. Flathead screws sit flush so the Stratux clears them
  5. Attach to any standard RAM arm/ball system

Why This Works

The included Stratux mount cradle has the same hole pattern as RAM’s universal bases. You’re essentially swapping the suction cup base for a RAM-compatible base.

Alternative: Velcro

If you don’t want to modify anything: - Attach industrial velcro to the back of the Stratux - Stick the other side to your glareshield or panel - Quick on/off, no permanent mods
