How do I enable Stratux developer mode?
How to Enable Developer Mode
Developer mode unlocks advanced settings that most users don’t need —
like disabling sensors, enabling logging, and accessing diagnostic
features.
When You Might Need It
- Troubleshooting specific hardware issues
- Disabling the pressure altitude sensor (for ForeFlight altitude bug
workaround)
- Enabling detailed logging for bug reports
- Testing specific radio configurations
How to Enable Developer
Mode
- Connect to the stratux WiFi network
- Open 192.168.10.1 in a web browser
- Tap the blue version number at the top of the
status screen 7 times quickly
- You’ll see a yellow “Developer Mode” banner appear
at the top
What’s Unlocked
In developer mode, the Settings tab shows additional options:
- Disable/enable individual sensors (GPS, AHRS,
radios)
- Logging controls (for diagnostics)
- Advanced radio settings
- Pressure altitude sensor toggle
⚠️ Caution
- Playing with logging settings may fill your SD card and cause boot
failures
- Disabling sensors will affect functionality
- If something breaks, reflash the SD card to reset everything
Disabling Developer Mode
Simply refresh the page or restart your Stratux. Developer mode is
temporary and resets on reboot.
Having issues after changing settings? Reflash your SD card to reset to
defaults.
